Pontypool give Ebbw a fright

EBBW Vale went 14 points clear after beating Pontypool 52- 38 in a bottom verses top thriller.
But not after being given a fright by Pooler who, having lost their previous six matches, powered into a 26-7 lead with a bonus point already secured inside half an hour.
Visitors Ebbw, who at that stage were staring down the barrel of only a second reverse of the season, as well as defeat at Pontypool Park for the third season in succession, rallied to eventually secure an 11th win from 12.
