Teen ace Whitlock savours super day

TEENAGER Matthew Whitlock scored a first hat-trick in his first season in senior rugby as the Titans triumphed.
It was Hornets who opened the scoring via a Sonny Davis try, which Jack Gapper converted.
The lead lasted just ten minutes before the 19-year-old Whitlock used his strength and pace to score in a corner.
With Hornets conceding penalties, the Titans kicked to the corner, and after several mauls released Nick Mason for the try which Tom Putt converted.
