McCall: We didn’t handle setbacks

MARK McCall labelled Saracens’ performance “too inconsistent” after their home defeat to Exeter. He said: “We’ve lost matches before this season, but today felt different. When a few things went against us, we didn’t react the way we have all season. We had leads in the game, but Exeter came back far too easily.
“They defended brilliantly. The belief and calmness in their group was clear—no panic at all. We can learn from that. When setbacks happened to us, we didn’t handle them as well as we could have.”
