Preview: Toulouse v Sharks
Today. Kick-off 3.15pm
Record six-time winners Toulouse launch their Champions Cup title pursuit today with several star players returning to a fixture that will also mark John Plumtree’s final match in charge of Sharks.
The New Zealander has been in charge of the Durban-based side since 2023 but departs after a largely underwhelming spell that has seen Sharks fail to challenge in the URC, languishing down the bottom this season.
“This decision was not taken lightly,” said Plumtree. “I have always been, and will always remain, a Sharks man through and through.
