SOS to the French TV negotiators

MY local club, and most rugby clubs I assume, are charged by TNT for rugby transmission as public entertainment venues. The cost for international rugby is £600 a month which we can’t afford and therefore can’t show the games and we lose both financially and socially.
My old club Pont Audemer RC in Normandy, France, receive all French international matches on terrestrial TV for free. To watch Top 14 and ProD2 costs them 30 euros per month, or about 26 quid.
The costs to Pont Audemer is about five per cent of our costs at Stow on the Wold RFC.
