Smit joins Cardiff

CARDIFF have signed Cornel Smit from URC rivals Bulls, the 28-year-old centre who can also play fly-half and wing. He will arrive at the Arms Park immediately with the chance to make his debut at Zebre on Saturday.
Cardiff boss Corniel Van Zyl said: “He’s a versatile, mature and intelligent player with true quality at 10, the centre and on the wing.
“He’s competed at a high level in South Africa for a number of years and brings the sort of experience and composure that will really complement our backline.”
