Norrie’s World Cup suggestions were spot on

I THOROUGHLY enjoyed reading David Norrie’s opinion on the Rugby World Cup format – both he and I are singing from a similar hymn sheet.
I think the recent thrashing of the USA by Scotland tells us that if we want to see the game grow across the pond and elsewhere then something needs to be addressed on this issue.
Whilst I commend World Rugby on increasing the number of teams in the World Cup, I do think David made a wonderful suggestion for the competition’s format.
