After years of globe-trotting with Great Britain Sevens, Api Bavadra admits stepping into the Champ with Coventry has been a steep but hugely rewarding learning curve.

The dynamic inside centre, who previously represented England and GB in the Sevens World Series, only made the full-time transition back to the 15-a-side game this season, four years after last playing in the format for Leeds Beckett in BUCS Super Rugby.
Having never been in a professional 15-a-side environment before, the 25-year-old admits it took time to adjust.
