The reboot of the international season starts for England when they face Australia at Twickenham on Saturday, and they go into this Autumn Series in a good position.

The foundation put in place by a second-place finish in the 2025 Six Nations has been added to by a winning Lions tour, in which there were 13 English players, and a 2-0 series victory in Argentina for the remaining England Test contingent.
That build-up means the England squad is a very competitive environment, and the players should be in good spirits and hungry to continue where they left off.
