A HALF-TIME message from the Lymm coaches to sort out the defence was the catalyst for a much-improved second-half performance by the home team, ensuring all five points after Syston’s lead at the break.
Lymm started the first half quickly and, within 15 minutes, were 17 points to the good, courtesy of tries from hooker Rob Makin, captain Nathan Beesley, and winger Paddy Jennings. The latter try being the only one converted.
