It’s safe to say Alun Lawrence has grabbed his second chance at Cardiff with both hands.

The No.8 had limited opportunities during his first spell with the club ahead of joining Jersey Reds at the start of 2022.
When Jersey folded in September 2023, he found himself out of work and facing an uncertain future. He even considered hanging up his boots.
