LOCAL derbies are always tight and, with the lead changing seven times, Wharfedale won it at the end to secure their first win of the season.
Otley kicked off and soon got a scrum, from where they launched an attack. After some sideways movement Fynlay Hobson threw a dummy, changed direction and ran the remaining 15 metres to score with Dan Reed adding the conversion.
