It is 15 years since Bruce Craig, not obviously a man to be found wanting in the ambition department, bought himself a 100 per cent holding in the Bath club and outlined some very bold plans in respect of his new acquisition.
First among these was to win something worth winning, which finally happened last season.
The second was to write the concluding chapter of the Recreation Ground story, a West Country saga older than Arthurian legend and almost as labyrinthine.
