Bristol Bears may have one of the smallest squads in the Prem, but they pulled off arguably the signing of the summer when they snapped up Louis Rees-Zammit.

The Wales winger had been out of the game for more than a year after leaving Gloucester to pursue his dream of making it in American football.
It did not work out despite two attempts and when the 2021 Lion announced he was returning to rugby, the Bears wasted no time in making an approach.
Rees-Zammit fits into their high tempo gameplan and is versatile, almost a prerequisite in a squad that is operating with no slack.
