CHAMPIONS Newport began the defence of their Super Rygbi Cymru title in defeat as they went down 27-20 at home against Llandovery.
Second-half tries from prop Josh Morse and hooker Cameron Lewis added to flanker Stuart Worrall and outside-half Ioan Hughes’ first-half scores, as the Drovers came from 15-10 down at the break to secure a bonus-point victory after a dominant second-half display.
