NORTHAMPTON’S unbeaten start to pre-season came to an end on Friday as they slipped to a defeat at Scotstoun but saw an impressive return from injury of George Hendy, who scored two tries.
Saints, who had beaten Bedford 40-28 at Goldington Road last week, flew out of the blocks with back row pair Callum Chick and Tom Pearson both powering over in the opening quarter.
Pearson added a second and Hendy got on the board, but with four tries of their own, Glasgow led 26-24 at half-time.
