Ardie Savea revelled in becoming New Zealand’s 23rd 100-cap Test player. Savea was honoured with a silver cap and dedicated the milestone to his family and young fans.
“It was a gutsy performance,” said Savea, right. “We knew the Springboks were going to come here and give it to us. I just had to stand up for the brothers. For me, I try to anticipate things and do what the team needs me to do.
“To my family... I wouldn’t be here today if it weren’t for you guys. I’m standing on the shoulders of you guys. Every young person in this crowd, this is for you.”
