French rugby deserves high praise for its brave decision to expose World Rugby’s woeful mismanagement of a key rugby union law.
Rebellion doesn’t normally involve obeying a law. But this situation has arisen as bizarrely World Rugby, the game’s governing body, is responsible for the death of a distinctive feature of the union game, the art of hooking, through its refusal to enforce its own straight feed law.
