Bristol move for Hopkins

TYRO Wales back row Gwennan Hopkins has joined Bristol Bears from Gloucester-Hartpury ahead of the new season. The 20-year-old won her first Wales cap during the 2024 Six Nations, scoring a try on her debut against Ireland.
Bristol head coach Scott Lawson, the former Scotland hooker who took over from Dave Ward this summer, said: “Gwennan is a player with undoubted ability who has already achieved a great deal in the game.
“We felt that our environment and playing style would offer Gwennan the best opportunity to push on to the next stage of her career.”
