Leicester Tigers sign 140kg USA prop Tonga Kofe

Leicester Tigers have signed US Eagles prop Tonga Kofe, who recently helped Utah Warriors finish top of the Major League Rugby Western Conference.

Three-cap Kofe, 29, who previously played American Football, is the seventh signing made by Leicester since their 23-21 defeat by Bath in last season’s Premiership final.
“Joining Leicester Tigers is more than just a new chapter — it’s the result of years of hard work, setbacks, and sacrifices,” he said.
“This club represents tradition, pride, and a relentless standard, and I’m ready to give everything I’ve got to be part of that.”
