England scrum-half Ben Youngs

Ben Youngs claims the proposed breakaway league R360 could be just what rugby needs to help give it a major “shake up and reshuffle”.

The former England, Lions and Leicester Tigers scrum-half feels the game could benefit from the ambitious new plan to try and help boost its financial and worldwide status.
Mike Tindall is fronting the league which is scheduled to be launched in September 2026 with eight franchises based in cities around the world.
The owners of Liverpool and Manchester United plus drinks giants Red Bull are also said to be ready to pay around £15m each for a team in R360.
