Sale Sharks boss Alex Sanderson is tipping a serious resurgence from fallen giants Exeter Chiefs next season, insisting Rob Baxter’s men have already started to turn the tide after what he describes as a rare “blip.”
The Chiefs, Premiership champions as recently as 2020, endured a turbulent 2024/25 campaign, finishing a shock ninth.
However, Sanderson, below, believes the drop-off is no sign of long-term decline – in fact far from it.
