Expect Grenoble to get it right this time

GRENOBLE will go into next Saturday’s ProD2 final as strong favourites for the title, and the prize of promotion to the Top 14. Sam Davies’s side cruised past Provence at Stade des Alpes on Thursday, dominating in all areas en route to a 38-17 win to book their place in a third final in as many seasons. But, after losing first to Bayonne, and then to Oyonnax, before missing out in two promotion playoffs against Perpignan and Montpellier, it seems that this time it could be their day.
