Uruguay’s Gonzalez joins the Worcester rebuild

WORCESTER Warriors have signed Uruguay back Juan Gonzalez as they build towards their return next season in the revamped Championship.
The 22-year-old is a regular for his country in sevens and featured in the Paris Olympics last summer, scoring four tries in three group matches.
Gonzalez has also played 15-a-side for Uruguay, winning three caps, and is expected to be part of the squad for July’s Tests, against Romania and Argentina, before Uruguay’s World Cup qualifier with Paraguay.
