England flanker Tom Curry will delay surgery to fix a wrist ligament injury until after the Lions tour of Australia.

Curry missed Sale’s match against Bristol on Friday as he manages a minor hamstring injury sustained against Leicester, but will be fit for the season run-in.
Sale boss Alex Sanderson said: “It will not rule him out of anything other than maybe this weekend. He will need an operation (on his wrist) at some point, but he’s able to manage it and play through whatever pain he’s experiencing currently.
