Rob Baxter is not one to normally dead bat questions, but he stuck to the party line when asked about the removal of coaches Rob Hunter and Ali Hepher after the thumping at Gloucester in the last Premiership round.
Exeter chairman Tony Rowe told director of rugby Baxter to dust down his tracksuit, believing that asking him to take on an overseeing role following the Premiership and Champions Cup double in 2020 was a mistake.
