Fully amateur Syston are enjoying a double promotion with the first team stepping up to the National Leagues next season.
Head coach Alex White led the 1st XV to the summit of Regional 1 Midlands after a campaign which saw the Leicestershire side complete an unbeaten season.
White, who balances his time at Syston with his role as backs and attack coach of Loughborough University’s BUCS Super Rugby team, is equally proud of how the 2nds have performed, winning Counties 3 Midlands West (East) after going unbeaten.
