LYMM beat Sheffield in a jaw-dropping 10-try thriller at Crouchley Lane. Rory Riddell’s two tries made him the stand-out for the hosts, but Sheffield’s Chris Hooper put in a great display and claimed a hat-trick of tries.
Sheffield opened the scoring with Hooper getting his first but Lymm swiftly responded through a Paddy Jennings try in the corner.
