MOST players never recover from a torn Achilles tendon, but Dan Birchall hasn’t let that end his career, instead continuing to perform for Sale FC despite entering the veteran stage of his career.
Birchall suffered the horrific injury in December 2023, but the prop is proud at how he’s bounced back in the game at the age of 36.
