SHEFFIELD recovered from a great first half from Tynedale to ‘nil’ their opposition in the second half and bring up 50 and five valuable competition points.
Sheffield actually scored from the kick-off, going 80 metres to score in the first minute through Elliot Fisher to take an early lead. Then they nearly emulated it again but a brilliant defensive tackle by Tynedale full-back Tom Mann on Will Smith stopped a certain score.
