GB face Spain in Dubai quarters

GREAT Britain men will face Spain in the quarter-finals of the Dubai Sevens, the first leg of the 2024-25 World Series.
GB opened Day 1 with a four try 22-17 victory over Ireland. Tries from Ethan Waddleton and Charlton Kerr put GB ahead 10-0 but Ireland hit back through Zac McConnell, Josh Kenny and Ed Kelly to open up a seven point gap. But Sunni Jardine’s converted try levelled matters before Harry Glover crossed for the winner.
