Proud Bristolian Hollie Cunningham hopes to inspire the next generation of Bears players and can’t see herself ever playing for anyone else.
Cunningham, 25, who has appeared in every PWR round so far this season, says her love for the sport was created and nurtured by grassroots coaches and players at her first club, St Mary’s Old Boys, based in Almondsbury.
As a club centurion, Cunningham hopes for more Bristol-born and bred players to rise into the club’s first team and has already seen an increase in interest in playing from her interactions with supporters.
