DEFENDING league champions Exeter University suffered their first defeat of the season this week, losing 20-18 away to Bath courtesy of a last minute winner.
It’s always a shock when Exeter lose nowadays, the Chiefs-affiliated side having won silverware in each of the last three seasons, but in Bath they faced another university who have strong links with their local Premiership club.
