THE unerring boot of Thomas Shard led Lymm to victory against Hull in an engrossing affair at Beechwood.
Adam Fletcher’s side made the perfect start when Nathan Beesley raced over for their opening score after only two minutes, and while that stunned the visitors, they soon worked their way back into it.
Alec Renouf was driven over for the equalising score but what Hull perhaps hadn’t bargained for was a man inspired in the form of Shard.
