Visitors profit from second-half surge

BISHOPS Stortford took the honours in a hardfought contest.
The scores were level at the break, but at the start of the second half Taunton gave away a penalty, and Stortford’s mauling from the resultant line-out ended with a try. This gave them a five-point lead, something they very quickly added to just two minutes later when they pounced on a ball from a Taunton kickoff to score a try which was converted and give a 12-point cushion to Stortford.
