FURTHER to the comments of correspondent Brian Aikman in last week’s paper with regard to contact areas, I would like to add a comment about the endless, it seems, advantage.
I accept that should a side infringe then they should be punished and their opposition allowed a certain leeway in attacking them. However I don’t believe that the opposition should be allowed 18 or 20 or more efforts to recycle the ball.
