Mapletoft lads fall short but signs are positive

MARK Mapletoft’s England U20s scored five tries but fell to a 42-33 defeat against Bath United at Shaftesbury Park. Tries from Toby Cousins, Lucas Schmid, Zach Carr and a brace from Ioan Jones were met with Bath scores through Austin Emens, Ewan Richards, Louie Hennessey, George Worboys, Ieuan Davies and a penalty try.
England trailed by 21 points at half-time but fought back and finished the better of the sides with two late scores.
