THERE was to be no early Christmas present for Preston Grasshoppers as their wait for a home win continued.
Ellis Causey’s early try gave the hosts belief they could cause an upset, but the visitors proved too strong.
Hoppers were looking to bounce back after a disappointing afternoon at Lymm last weekend, while Titans hoped to strengthen their promotion charge.
Titans showed their prowess at the setpiece to take the lead, with Callum Bustin dotting down from a rolling maul after seven minutes.
