ROTHERHAM racked up a tenth-straight win to set themselves up for next week's top-of-thetable tie against Leeds.

Titans nilled Hull in the second half and kept their try line intact, the only frustration that a four-try bonus point eluded them.

Hull had the advantage of a strong wind in the first half, but were not able to take advantage of it the way their hosts did in the second.

Two penalties from Reece Dean sandwiched Titans' opening converted try from fly-half Will Milner and although Dean missed two more attempts, he nailed a third to give his team a 9-7 lead.

In a clash between two huge packs, Rotherham's gradually got on top. Right on half-time, a relentless series of drives ended with prop Charlie Capps emerging from a pile of bodies to touch down and with Lloyd Hayes' conversion adding to an earlier penalty, the home team went in at halftime 17-9 up.

They dominated the second period, extending the lead with two more three-pointers from Hayes, before second-row Matt Challinor finished off a line-out move to put the outcome beyond doubt. A late yellow added to Hull's woes, although they did well to prevent their hosts scoring again.
