SEDGLEY Tigers got the better of Leicester Lions in a tight contest at Park Lane.
Both sides started strongly, but it was the visitors that were the first to put points on the board with a try in the third minute from Ethan Godefroy, which was converted by Daniel Lewis.
Adam Mallinson then replied with a try in the eighth minute, converted by Warren Seals.
