Three tries in nine first-half minutes fired Scotland to a second successive victory in WXV 2, as they got the better of the USA in Athlone.

The Scots had already got the better of South Africa in their opener, and backed up that win over the hosts with an impressive display, making the most of the strong wind in the first half to claim a first victory over the Americans in 22 years.
Wingers FranMc-Ghie and Rhona Lloyd showed their pace out wide with tries on 11 and 20 minutes, either side of Emma Wassell’s closerange score as Scotland...
