Bercis buzzing for a shot at big boys

Joe Bercis is set to become the all-time appearance holder for Ampthill this season and aims to put a torrid time with injuries behind him as he targets a top five Championship finish.
Openside Bercis, 29, was named in the Championship Dream Team in the 2019/20 campaign but has endured back-to-back stop-start seasons due to a shoulder operation.
After making just two appearances last season he is eager for action, with the added carrot of a shot against top-flight teams in the Premiership Cup.
