Steward in name mix-up

ON THE BLINDSIDE

RFU media bosses were left with egg on their faces after an embarrassing blunder when they announced England’s latest kit offering to the World last week.
In a caption for a publicity photo, they managed to tag Freddie Steward, below, as Freddie Stewart, despite him being a regular for his country in the last couple of seasons.

And to make matters worse, the media pointed out the mistake when it was released on embargo and still went unchanged on their social media channels when launched.
