It’s not a level playing field in second tier

I WOULD just like to correct a passage in the article with Steve Thompson last week (TRP, June 11), when he stated that the Championship is all semi-professional.
In fact, at least five of the teams that are in that league are, in fact, FULLY professional and their players train five days a week.
These include, Pirates, Doncaster, Ealing, Jersey and Coventry. The rest are semi-professional and only train 2-3 times a week for a couple of hours in the evenings and have to have other jobs outside of rugby.
