Gott in charge to steer Navy home

Jordan Gott produced the performance of his life to steer the Navy to the Inter-Services title with a first win over the Army since 2010.
The Taunton RFC flyhalf created two of his side’s three tries and succeeded with nine kicks from 11 for a match-tally of 24 points to turn the formbook on its head.
Using the RAF as a yardstick, Army were firm favourites having trounced the airmen 48-17 with Navy managing only a 13- 13 draw but, on the day, too many of the Army players performed below par.
