Victory seals best finish for Hinckley

Hinckley and Bournville played out a compelling game to end the season and secure the hosts their joint best finish in the National Leagues.
Hinckley opened the scoring after eight minutes. Sam Everett was held up just short but Charlie Hurst was on hand to finish well, and Joe Wilson converted.
Bournville then managed to control a period of the game that led to two quick tries – the first one from Max Craven followed by replacement James Weaver, with Craven converting both for a 14-7 away lead.
