Leaders Rams overcame a poor first half to keep their title ambitions alive by beating relegated Esher.
Esher scored early on as fly-half Pierre Thompson took advantage of a break by skipper Adam Bullett to dive over. A series of handling errors from the visitors led to another try for Thompson, with Sam Morley converting.
This second try in the first quarter stirred Rams into action.
