Pumas blow Cheetahs away to remain only unbeaten side

Defending champions Pumas are the only unbeaten side remaining in the Currie Cup after their 66-21 demolition of the Cheetahs.
Jimmy Stonehouse’s men got off to a flying start and led 26-7 at the break. In all, the men from Mpumalanga ran in nine tries to the Cheetahs’ three, with Devon Williams getting three for the defending champions.
The Bulls lost 36-32 on Friday night against the Griffons to hand the hosts their first Premier Division win in the Currie Cup and their first victory over their opponents since 1997.
