The Lions kept alive their play-off hopes with a comeback win in Treviso having trailed 28-13 going into the final quarter.
Tries from Joaquin Riera, Marcus Watson, Siua Maile and Henry Time-Stowers had put Benetton on track for victory but the Lions produced a sensational final 20 to take the win.
The Lions broke the deadlock when Sanele Nohamba sent over a simple penalty before Benetton got the opening try when some sloppy defence enabled Riera to dummy his way through.
