Merhtyr consolidated their top-four position after Quins failed to keep up with the Joneses at Carmarthen Park.
The Ironmen bagged six tries, all from different scorers, including
Jones trio Ben, Louis and Sam.
A bonus-point win closed the gap on second-placed Llandovery to three points and halted Quins’ three-game winning run in its tracks.
